Professor Sharad Pagare, a well-known Hindi writer, will receive the prestigious Vyas Samman-2020 award for his novel ‘Patliputra ki Samragi.‘
Professor Sharad Pagare is a well-known writer of Hindi literature as well as a distinguished researcher, professor, and scholar of the historical past.
He has also received numerous awards for his contributions to Hindi literature, including the Bharat Bhushan Samman and the Madhya Pradesh Sahitya Akademi.
Professor Pagare’s writings have also been translated into Oriya, English, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, and Telugu.
The KK Birla Foundation bestows the Vyas Samman, which was established in 1991. The Samman award is given for outstanding work in Hindi literature written by an Indian citizen. The recognised work must have been published within the last ten years and must be in Hindi.
The prestigious award includes a cash prize of Rs. 4,00,000, as well as a plaque and a citation.
